Real-Time Imprecise Computation Tasks Mapping for DVFS-Enabled Networked Systems

Networked systems are useful for a wide range of applications, many which require distributed and collaborative data processing to satisfy real-time requirements. On one hand, networked usually resource constrained, mainly regarding the energy supply nodes their computation communication abilities. other applications can be executed in an imprecise way, where approximate result is acceptable as long baseline Quality Service (QoS) satisfied. Such modeled through (IC) tasks. To achieve better tradeoff between QoS limited system resources, while meeting application requirements, IC-tasks must efficiently mapped nodes. tackle this problem, we first construct IC-task mapping problem that aims maximize subject constraints. Dynamic voltage frequency scaling (DVFS) multipath routing explored further enhance performance reduce consumption. Second, based on structure, propose optimal approach perform prove its optimality. Furthermore, scalability proposed approach, present heuristic method with low time. Finally, simulation results demonstrate effectiveness methods terms solution quality
